The genesis of IVOR began with his upbringing in Mumbai, India where he quickly picked up DJing and blended bass booming trap, hip-hop, and electronic dance music across clubs and festivals in Bombay. Although absolutely enamored with DJing for hundreds if not thousands of people, he strived to play his own pieces on the very same stages. Soon thereafter he moved to London, England where he began University to hone his craft in music production for the next 5 years.

The IVOR sound takes inspiration from a variety of elements, like other artists or environments and places. IVOR wants to take the listener on a journey, a car ride alongside the California coast to a camping trip in the rainforest, incorporating sounds and emotions to invoke vivid imagery. From electronic elements like drum & bass and trap to more acoustic naturalistic sounds like Indian tablas, waterfalls and crickets chirping, his debut EP, ‘VOIR’ established his unique style and sound. IVOR encapsulates euphoria, curiosity and relaxation, utilizing lush soundscapes and ambient textures that can send you to any part of the world.
